All remains quiet here in Mosul, at least for the coalition forces. A couple of large explosions occurred this morning targeting the Iraqi police but none of our soldiers were in the area and no casualties were brought to us for treatment. Both good things as the status quo continues.
Came across this map on the internet. Thought it was pretty hilarious because for a lot of Americans this map is probably not that far off from how they really do perceive the rest of the world. Glad it's calm, LOVE how europe is shown on the map! Only critique is that more evil doer's probably refers to N Korea which is a peninsula jutting off China, and the map makes it look like a Northern island which is Japan ;) I was at the DMZ in April, fun place..... Got Disney on the brain yet?
