Day# 111 - Sandstorm

Wanted to post some pics of the mother of all sandstorms we had the other day. It was sunny and clear most of the day until this baby rolled in. The air was so thick with sand that you couldn't see more than 3 feet in front of you while walking. Hope you are all enjoying a nice summer back home because summer time in Iraq sucks!

Those pics are amazing. I'll take this cool, rainy June we've been having in MA over that any day.

Wow Pete, thats crazy. Don't worry though cause the month of June in New York sucks. It rains just about every other day.

Peace Hommie

No summer here on LI, 55 degrees Tues night when we flew in from Texas. Texas is another story though-heat wave! Over 100 every day we were there! (the nights were nice though, and no sandstorms of course). love you , Mom

ps-whenever it goes above 90 in NY its the top story on the news-check on the elderly!!! drink plenty of water!!! watch out for heatstroke!! yikes! In Texas no one really mentions that its hot out, what gives?

Happy Father's Day. We were at your Mom and Dad's home on Saturday to visit with them, Sandy and Alexa. Everyone looks great but Alexa stole the show. God bless and stay safe. Mary and Dennis
